2020 Spring school Part.1 ~Allie先生が紹介!~2020.05.24

「最高級の環境で、最上級の教育を」HOPPAの学童保育、THE HOPPA ROYAL KIDS。

今年度のスプリングスクールでも、THE HOPPA ROYAL KIDSの子どもたちは様々なアクティビティにチャレンジしました!まずは4月のアクティビティの様子をぜひご覧ください。それでは、アリー先生にバトンタッチ!!

Hello! It is Allie back here to tell you about our Spring School at THE HOPPA Royal Kids.

This blog will be a little bit of a different style.I would like to show you some highlight shots from what we have been up to.

Day 1: Taking pictures at Bukoji Park

仏光寺公園にて写真撮影とカラーゲームをしました

We asked the kids to take pictures of the Cherry Blossoms. We went at an early time so we had the park to ourselves! We took lots of photos and played a very fun color game.

Day 1: Royal Dinner

ロイヤルディナーはRoti Chicken & Jackie Tacosさんへ♪

We went to Jackie`s Tacos! We had some delicious food and lots and lots of avocadoes and tacos! The guacamole we a BIG HIT!

お友達や先生とのROYAL DINNERは子どもたちにとっても特別な日となっているようです❤

Day 4: 光徳公園 and shopping

今年はお花見にはいけませんでしたが、桜の下で記念撮影をして遊びました 😆

This year we canceled our picnic under the cherry trees. We ended up going to an open park and we and bought snacks that we could eat at THE HOPPA ROYAL KIDS. We were able to see the CHERRY BLOSSOMS and run around a lot. The boys really had fun playing tag.

Day 5: Making the classroom rules

ロイヤルキッズでの生活のルールをみんなで決めました。

3年生を中心にどうしたらみんなが気持ちよく過ごせるかを考えることができました。決めたルールはカードにして、いつも見えるところに掲示しています。

折々に「みんなでルールを決めたよね」とお友だち同士で確認しあう姿が見られます。

With our hours extended at The HOPPA Royal Kids and new students coming, we took the time to move our lockers, change where you put your shoes, and make some class rules. The best part about this is that students created the rules by themselves. They considered the students school year, height, and personal preference.

When discussing the rules everyone talked together about what the rules should be. For the younger or new students that did not understand why a rule was a rule, within the group the older students explained it to them. For example; “Don’t close the doors in the playroom when there is no teacher.”

Day 6 & 7: Making paper mashie Easter Eggs

With Easter coming up, we did an activity making Easter eggs. The children enjoyed it so much that we made the eggs for two days!

もちろんアクティヴィティ中はアリー先生とオールイングリッシュ!

During this time the children were only with the English teacher. Since the children are speaking English from 10 in the morning, you can see their vocabulary growing.

The key words the learned in this activity was LAYER. With our balloon we needed to make two layers all around. The plan was to do an Easter egg hunt, but the kids said NO due to wanting to keep them safe and clean.
